Why Remap Your Freightliner?
These are North American trucks, mostly with Detroit Diesel or Mercedes-Benz MBE engines, so the remap starts with the engine under the cab rather than the badge on the grille. Freightliner Diesel Tuning
The calculator lists the Cascadia's 12.8 litre MBE 4000 in 5 versions, from 350 hp to 450 hp. The strongest of them at Stage 1:
- Cascadia MBE 4000 12.8 litre: 450 hp and 2,100 Nm as standard, 505 hp and 2,260 Nm at Stage 1
That's a typical figure for a standard truck in good health, and an older engine's result depends on how it's been looked after.
