Why Remap Your Kia?

The Sportage is a common sight on Irish roads, and plenty of them tow or carry a full house. A remap gives the CRDi and T-GDi engines more mid-range, so the car feels less strained, and our SUV and 4x4 remapping page covers the bigger models. If fuel matters most, our economy remapping aims the gain there. Kia shares much of its engineering with Hyundai and Genesis, so the same engines turn up across all 3.

Kia Diesel Tuning

The 1.6 and 2.2 CRDi diesels in the Sportage, Ceed and Sorento gain torque for towing and overtaking, with fewer gear changes on hills.

From the 1.0 and 1.6 T-GDi in the Ceed and Sportage to the twin-turbo V6 in the Stinger GT, petrol Kias get a quicker throttle and more pull in the gears you use most. Dual-clutch and automatic gearboxes can be tuned too through our DSG and TCU remapping.

What happens on the day

Check your Kia in the Remap Calculator or give us a call, then book it in. On the day it goes on our 4WD dyno for a before run, the map is written for your engine, and an after run shows you the difference in power and torque.

If your Kia is an automatic, ask us about a gearbox (TCU) remap on the same visit.
