A pre-NCT check finds the things that would fail your car before the test centre sees them, so you can get them sorted and give the car its best chance of passing first time. We do it at JTK Remapping on the Youghal Road in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
We go over every part of the car we can see and reach, and check each one works as it should:
A warning light is worth sorting before the test day. Our vehicle diagnostics reads the fault behind it with dealer-level software, so you know exactly what needs fixing.
Passing the NCT doesn't mean the car can go another year without a look. Our general maintenance inspection covers the brakes, suspension, fluids, belts and tyres between tests, so small problems stay small.
