Power: 140 hp standard, 175 hp at Stage 1, 35 hp more.

Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TDI CRIII (CR), 2018 onwards · Diesel
Power: 286 hp standard, 350 hp at Stage 1, 64 hp more.
Torque: 600 Nm standard, 720 Nm at Stage 1, 120 Nm more.

Volkswagen's engines are some of the most tunable around, and they're found in everything from a Polo to a Crafter. A map written for your vehicle brings out the torque the factory holds back. If you'd like APR's Stage 1 or Stage 2 software on your GTI or Golf R, our APR Performance page has the details. 4Motion cars such as the Golf R, Tiguan and Touareg go on our 4WD dyno with every wheel driving.
The 1.6 and 2.0 TDI diesels in the Golf, Passat, Tiguan and the vans gain plenty of torque for overtaking, towing and carrying, and use less fuel on a steady run. Caddy, Transporter and Crafter owners will find more on our van remapping page.
From the 1.0 and 1.5 TSI to the 2.0 TSI in the GTI and Golf R, petrol VWs get a quicker throttle and more pull through the gears. The DSG gearbox has its own torque limits, so we often tune it at the same time through our DSG and TCU remapping.
