AdBlue Software Services
An AdBlue warning is one fault a diesel won't let you ignore for long, because many count down to a no-start once it appears. At JTK Remapping in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, we find out why the AdBlue system has thrown its fault, fix what caused it and clear the error codes, so you can get back on the road.
How we find the fault
We plug in our diagnostic equipment, read the codes the AdBlue system has stored and work back to the cause. Then we fix the underlying problem as well as clearing the codes, so you're not paying to switch off a light that comes back on the next week. If there's more going on than AdBlue, our vehicle diagnostics covers the rest of the car.
AdBlue software and removal
We also carry out AdBlue software changes, including removal. If you ask us to change or remove an AdBlue system, it's your responsibility to check that the change is allowed for how and where the vehicle is used, and to tell your insurer. Our terms and conditions set this out.

If your diesel is booked in for economy remapping or van remapping, mention any AdBlue warning when you book and ask us to look at it on the same visit.
Can you clear an AdBlue warning light?
Yes. We read the fault codes, fix what caused them and then clear the codes. Clearing the light on its own rarely lasts, because the fault that set it is still there.
Do you remove AdBlue systems?
Yes, we carry out AdBlue software changes and removals. Whether a removal is allowed for your vehicle and the way you use it is your responsibility, and so is telling your insurer.
