2WD/4WD Dyno Tuning

A run on the rollers records your engine's horsepower and torque across the rev range and draws it as a graph you can see for yourself. It settles the argument the seat of your pants can't, and it shows where the power comes in, where it tails off and whether there's a flat spot in between.

Figures can differ from one dyno to another, because air temperature, air density and the rollers themselves all play a part. The fair comparison is always 2 runs on the same dyno, which is how we measure your car.

Plenty of four-wheel-drive cars can't be measured on a two-wheel-drive rolling road at all. Ours drives all four wheels, so an Audi quattro, a BMW xDrive or a Volkswagen Golf R is measured the way it's driven on the road, and the map is checked on the same car, under the same load.
