Why Remap Your Caterpillar?
With a Cat engine, we look at the engine first and the machine around it second. More torque at working revs means it digs, pushes or pulls without the revs dragging down, and our economy remapping can put the gain into fuel instead. The older Challenger MT tractors run Cat engines too, so they're covered the same way.
Caterpillar Diesel Tuning
The C13 alone has 19 versions on the calculator, with and without a DPF, from 309 hp to 532 hp. Take the 385 hp version at Stage 1:
- C13 12.5 litre (385 hp): 385 hp and 1,966 Nm as standard, 442 hp and 2,246 Nm at Stage 1
That's a typical figure for an engine in good health. A machine with a lot of hours on it gets checked first, and our vehicle diagnostics find any fault before the map goes on.
