On a 6R or 7R, extra torque at working revs means the tractor holds its speed with a heavy trailer or a big implement behind it, instead of dropping a gear every time the ground rises. If the diesel bill is what's bothering you, our economy remapping puts the gain into fuel.

Every remap is custom-written in-house by a qualified motorsport engineer for that tractor. If a warning light is already on, our vehicle diagnostics finds out why before we start.

The calculator lists more than 180 John Deere models, from the 5 Series up to the 9R, the combines and the forestry machines, each with its own engine. Here are 2 6R examples at Stage 1:

• 6155R 6.8 litre: 155 hp and 724 Nm as standard, 190 hp and 860 Nm at Stage 1
• 6130R 4.5 litre: 130 hp and 609 Nm as standard, 160 hp and 720 Nm at Stage 1

Those are typical for a standard tractor in good health. Yours will depend on its condition and hours.
