People buy an Alfa because they enjoy driving, and a factory map tuned for every market in the world rarely does the engine justice. A good car remap fills in the flat spots, gives you more torque in the gears you actually use and makes the car feel as eager as it looks. Your Alfa goes on our 4WD dyno before and after, so you see the difference on paper as well as feeling it on the road.
The 2.2 JTDm in the Giulia and Stelvio and the 1.6 and 2.0 JTDm in the Giulietta pull well from low revs, and a remap builds on that with more mid-range shove for towing, joining the motorway and overtaking. On a steady motorway run, the engine also works less hard for the same pace, which helps fuel economy.
From the 1.4 MultiAir in a Mito or Giulietta to the 2.0 turbo in the Giulia and Stelvio, petrol Alfas respond well to a tidy map with sharper throttle and stronger pull to the redline. Automatic Giulias and Stelvios can have their gearbox looked at too, through our DSG and TCU remapping.
